    Sleeping Issues
So I breastfeed our 4 month old son and he's very consistant on the 2 hour limit! Even at night he wants to nurse a lot, about 3 to 4 times a night. Well, here lies the problem...well sort of... hubby works from 7:30am til about 4pm. We co-slept in the beginning and it didn't seem to be a problem and hubby slept through it. NOW, hubby has mentioned that he isn't sleeping well at all. We now have baby put to bed in another room, but it's still the waking every 2-3 hours! Recently, I've put the baby to bed, snuck back into our room for the first couple hours then slept the rest of the night in baby's room. (baby is such a light sleeper I can't move him to the crib after feeding on the spare bed) So, hubby hasn't said anything recently, but in the past he said that he really wants me to sleep with him most of the night. I feel bad not being with my husband at night, but I'm also so tired that I fall asleep nursing babe and totally lose track of time.

Any suggestions on how to handle this?

    How does your baby sleep?
What are the sleeping/feeding patterns for your baby? (Mine is now about 3 1/2 to 4 months old)? Especially at night.

AND how are you feeding your baby (breast, formula, solids)

Just wondering if anyone else has been able to reach the covited 'sleeping through the night' on a regular basis.

Thanks in advance for the reply and hopefully a little peace of mind.

ALSO...please let me know how old your baby is.

    Castor Oil?
So what are your thoughts on using Castor Oil to induce labor?

Husband has read up on it and there are mixed reviews that I see. I'm 38 weeks, 3 cm, 80-90% effaced and +1. Midwife said she thought things would start ramping up last night, but I actually got a pretty good night's sleep (unusual)!

What do you think...should we get this baby out or wait for him to make the next move?

Water Birth with kiddie pool and heater?
    Hi there,

The baby is due soon(April 2) and we've looked into the birthing tubs, but don't want to spend the $400+ that it takes to rent and ship. SOOOO...we're thinking of using the suggestions of the Intex kiddie pool. Seems like you can get them online for pretty cheap.

My question: Can I use a water bed heater (maybe covered by a towel) under the pool? What if the floor is inflated?

I would be greatful for any suggestions. We're planning a home birth and I would love to use the water!
